PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Upon submission, all authors receive an acknowledgement of receipt.

Before sending the article for review it is checked for plagiarism.

Each article follows a brief editorial review to determinate the manuscript’s appropriateness for TERUM. If an article doesn’t pass this evaluation, the authors are informed that the article is desk rejected (in maximum 2 weeks). The other manuscripts are blind reviewed by two reviewers. The review process  takes approximately 2 months. The reviewers evaluate the submitted papers against the following checkpoints:

  • Relevance to TERUM themes

  • Originality

  • Significance, usefulness

  • Reference to the related literature

  • Presentation

  • Linguistic quality.

At the end of the review process, the authors are notified on the status of their manuscripts and receive the feedback from the reviewers. If the reviewers ask for revision then the authors should make the revision and the article will be published after the reviewers acceptance.

The article is published after the authors sign the Copyright form.
